How Much Does Sukkot in Jerusalem Cost? Prices for 21 Sites, and 35 That Are Free

Sukkot 2026 falls between 26 September and 3 October, and Chol HaMoed is five days when half the city is outdoors. We gathered what it actually costs to get into each site in Jerusalem — 21 sites with a published price, and 35 that cost nothing. Prices are the adult rate on an ordinary day; over the festival some sites charge differently, and every row here links to the page with the full details.

The first thing worth knowing: In the Jewish Quarter four sites are priced separately — each from ₪12 — but there is a combined ticket to six heritage sites at ₪160 per family. A family planning more than two sites will almost always come out ahead with it.

Three notes that will save you money

The Yerushalmi card. Some sites give a separate discount for it — the Museum for Islamic Art and the Friends of Zion Museum name it explicitly. Worth asking at the ticket desk even where it is not written.

Children and seniors. Almost every site has a second tier, and sometimes it is half the price. At the Tower of David an adult pays ₪55 and a senior ₪28.

"From" is not always what you will pay. At the City of David self-guided entry starts at ₪16 and a guided tour starts at ₪41. Check exactly what is included before you buy.
