Terms of Use — LiveJLM

Welcome to LiveJLM (the "Site"), operated by OMG (the "Operator"). By browsing or using the Site you agree to these terms in full. This is a courtesy English summary — the binding version is the Hebrew Terms of Use.

What LiveJLM is — and is not

LiveJLM is a listings board. We collect and display information about what is happening in Jerusalem. We do not organise, produce, sell tickets, take payment, or act as a party to any transaction.

Every event, show, tour and activity listed here is run by a third party — an organiser, producer, venue or business — that is independent of the Operator and does not act on its behalf.
Your agreement is with the seller alone. Buying a ticket, registering, paying, gaining admission, cancelling and obtaining a refund are all handled by whoever sold you the ticket — the organiser, the venue, or a ticket reseller — and are that party's responsibility, not the Operator's.
An event may be cancelled, postponed, moved, repriced or sold out — sometimes without our knowing, and sometimes faster than we can update. The Operator is not responsible for this, offers no compensation and issues no refunds.
Listing an event, place or business here is not a recommendation, an endorsement, a quality check or a guarantee of any kind.

Who operates the Site

The Site is operated by OMG, mailing address: 6 HaMamtzi St., Jerusalem, Israel. All rights in the Site's content, design, marks and images belong to the Operator unless stated otherwise.

Content and accuracy

The Site lists events, shows, restaurants, attractions and activities in Jerusalem. Some content is collected from external sources and processed with the help of AI systems, and is reviewed — but errors, changes and inaccuracies are possible.

Your responsibility, and the binding source. You are solely responsible for verifying details — dates, times, locations, prices, kashrut and admission terms — directly with the organizer or venue before attending. The seller's checkout page is the binding source. The venue, address, date, time and price as shown on the page where you buy are the ones that count; any conflict between the Site and the seller's page is always resolved in favour of the seller's page, and you must check there before paying. In particular, an event shown on the Site as taking place in Jerusalem may in fact take place elsewhere; the word "Jerusalem" in a venue's name or address is no guarantee that the event is in the city.

Kashrut. The kashrut details shown on the Site were gathered from several sources: the businesses' own sites, certificates photographed on the premises, and the public kashrut portal of Israel's Ministry of Religious Services. They reflect what the source published on the day they were gathered and are not updated in real time. A certificate can expire, change or be revoked at any time. The Site is not a kashrut authority and certifies nothing; what counts is the valid certificate displayed at the business, and we recommend checking it there.

Limitation of liability. The Site is provided AS IS. The Operator accepts no liability for direct, indirect, financial or other damages arising from reliance on the Site's content or from attending events listed on it, does not warrant that listings are correct, complete or current at any time, and leaves independent verification with the organizers to you alone. Content is also collected and processed automatically — scraping, import, translation, classification and completion of details — and these processes may distort a detail or attach an event to the wrong venue, address or category even when the source itself is correct. This section applies to such errors exactly as it applies to inaccuracies originating with a third party. Showing an event on the Site, including a Jerusalem venue or address, is not a representation that the event takes place in that city, place or time.

Reporting an error. Found a wrong detail? Please tell us through the contact page. We correct or remove a wrong listing as soon as we learn of it. Correction or removal of the listing is the only remedy the Operator offers for a wrong detail, and it creates no financial liability or duty of compensation. Nothing here limits your rights under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 — those rights stand against the seller you bought the ticket from.

User-submitted content

When you submit an event, place, tour or photo for listing you confirm the information is accurate, that you are entitled to publish it, and, for a photo, that you hold the rights to it or have the rights holder's permission to submit it. You grant the Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, edit, translate and display it on the Site and its distribution channels. The Operator may decline, edit or remove any submission at its sole discretion.

Third-party images and content; removal on request

Some images on the Site — mainly event posters — are shown directly from the organizers', venues' and ticketing systems' own websites, as published there, to present the event. Other images were given to us by businesses and organizers, taken by us, or come from Wikimedia Commons under a free licence (see the image credits page).

If you hold the rights to an image, text or other content shown on the Site and do not want it shown here, or believe that showing it infringes your rights, write to privacy@livejlm.com or through the contact page with a link to the page where it appears. We will remove or replace the content within 3 business days of receiving your request, with no proof required beyond identifying the content and your connection to it. If we think the request is mistaken, we will write to you before doing anything else. Removal or replacement under this section is the remedy the Operator offers and is not an admission of any claim.

Maayan Yerushalmi — a virtual guide

The Site offers a virtual guide named "Maayan Yerushalmi". Maayan is a character created with artificial intelligence, not a person. Her answers are generated automatically from the Site's events calendar and pages, and every answer carries links to the sources it rests on. Answers may contain mistakes, omissions or outdated information. They are not a binding recommendation and do not replace checking times, prices and terms directly with the organizer or venue, as set out above.

Disclosure: when Maayan chooses which items to show, she may give a slight preference to events whose tickets are sold through our commercial partners (see the affiliate section below). That preference is smaller than relevance to your question: an item that matches what you asked is always shown before an item that earns us a commission.

Questions are stored and processed by a third-party AI provider, as described in the Privacy Policy. Please keep personal details out of them. Maayan also appears in videos and posts on the Site's channels; there too she is an AI-generated character, and is labelled as such.

Services for visitors and businesses

Trip planning. The Site offers a self-service itinerary builder and a request for a personal itinerary that we build and send to you by phone, free of charge. An itinerary is a suggestion built from the Site's calendar and pages according to what you told us. It is not a booking, not a confirmation of availability, and no guarantee that places are open or events take place — all of that is yours to check with the venue or organizer, as set out above. The Operator is not a travel agency, makes no bookings and takes no payment. The details you give in the request are used only to build and send the itinerary, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Punch cards of partner businesses. The Operator offers partner businesses a stamp card that their customers open on their phone. The card belongs to the business: it sets how many stamps are needed, what the reward is and whether the reward is time-limited, and it is the business that stamps and hands over the reward; the Operator records the stamps and shows the card, and the business sees each card's stamp history (dates, number of visits and rewards) with no name or identifying detail. The terms of each round (stamps and reward) are those in force at the round's first stamp, even if the business changed them later. The card needs no sign-up or identification; it lives in the browser it was opened in, and the restore link shown on it is the only way to bring it back in another browser or phone — whoever holds the link holds the card, so keep it to yourself. Stamps and rewards are not money, cannot be converted to money or transferred, and are redeemed with the business alone. The Operator is not responsible for a reward the business did not give, for a change in the card's terms, or for the business closing the card.

Shawish. "Shawish, by Jerusalem Al Male" is a separate service that lets a business run a digital assistant answering its customers. It operates at shawish.co.il and has its own terms of use and privacy policy, published there. These terms do not apply to it, and vice versa. Where a business shows a link to its assistant on this Site, the answers come from the information the business entered in Shawish, in the business's name and on its responsibility.

External links and affiliate disclosure

The Site links to external websites — organizers, ticketing, and restaurant reservation services (e.g. Ontopo, Tabit). The Operator is not a party to those transactions and is not responsible for their content, services or policies. Disclosure: some links are affiliate links. If you purchase through one, the Operator may earn a commission from the seller. As of this update we take part in these programmes:

Event tickets: Bravo box office (livejlm.kartisim.co.il) and Fever events (through the Impact network).
Tours and attractions: GetYourGuide; Viator (being set up — will appear on the Site once connected).
Accommodation: Stay22, Booking.com, and the Isrotel, Fattal and Dan hotel chains.
Car rental: DiscoverCars.

A programme we join later will be added to this list at the next update of these terms. Every commercial link is marked in the page code as sponsored (rel="sponsored").

The commission is paid out of the seller's margin and is not charged to you separately; we cannot, however, guarantee that a given seller's price matches other sellers or the venue box office, and we suggest comparing before you buy. The binding price is the one shown on the seller's checkout page, including any handling or service fees they charge. An affiliate link is not an endorsement of the third party's service.

Tickets sold through a reseller: some ticket links point to a ticket reseller rather than to the venue box office or the organiser. In that case the contract is with the reseller, and the purchase, cancellation and refund terms — including cancellation fees, deadlines and refund method — are theirs, as set out in their own terms and subject to the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981. Requests concerning cancellation or refund must be addressed to the seller the ticket was bought from. The Operator is not a party to the transaction, does not hold the funds, and cannot cancel, change or refund it.

Paid promotion for businesses: the Operator offers businesses, venues and cultural institutions paid promotion — a dedicated partner page on the Site, content production and exposure on the Operator's own social channels. Content produced or distributed for payment is marked as such. Paid promotion does not affect the events calendar or the Site's search results: there is no paid placement in the calendar, no event ranks higher or is highlighted because it was paid for, and no position in the Site's internal search results can be bought. Inclusion of an event or place in the calendar is an editorial decision only and involves no payment in either direction.

Widget, availability and changes

The embeddable events widget is offered free of charge, AS IS, and may change or be discontinued at any time. Automated scraping of Site content requires prior written consent.
