The Imperial Hotel — the historic building on Omar Ibn al-Khattab Square

A striking stone building from 1884 standing on the square just inside Jaffa Gate, with cast-iron balconies and columns along its facade. An inscription in Greek commemorates the patriarchs Nicodemus and Euthymius. Shops and a cafe operate on the ground floor, and Versavee sits in the inner courtyard behind.
