Nachalat Shiva

The third neighbourhood built outside the Old City walls, in 1869, and today a stone pedestrian quarter in the city centre with restaurants, bars, galleries and shops. Hundreds of coloured umbrellas hang above Yoel Moshe Salomon Street — one of the most photographed sights in Jerusalem, known to many as Umbrella Street.
