Balian - Armenian Ceramics of Jerusalem

An Armenian ceramics workshop and shop run by the Balian family since 1922, on Nablus Road just outside the Old City walls. You can buy handmade tiles and vessels, watch the painting being done, and commission bespoke work — the craft that gave Jerusalem its distinctive blue-and-white street signs.
