Marzipan's rugelach — the thing Jerusalemites send guests home with, and one of two things a tourist hears about before ever reaching the market. A family business that has been on Agrippas for four decades, small and packed, with walls of boxes from floor to ceiling. The rugelach comes out hot through the day, and the queue lengthens towards Friday evening. It is worth asking when the next batch is due out — the difference between hot rugelach and rugelach from two hours ago is the difference that brings people back.
