Teller Bakery in Machane Yehuda Market, on the corner of Etz HaChaim and Eliyahu Banai streets: baguettes, sourdough loaves, rolls and country breads in wicker baskets, in the traditional style. This is the market branch of Teller, a Jerusalem bakery and patisserie whose main bakery works at 74 Agrippas Street, right by the market, and which also supplies bread and cakes to restaurants, delis and hotels around the city. Teller's flagship is its sourdough bread — made from different flours, with additions such as Kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes, walnuts and blueberries — alongside bagels, pastries and cakes. Teller has other branches too, including Beit Yarden at Shilat Junction and in Tel Aviv. The market branch is closed on Shabbat; on Friday come in the morning, before the market starts to empty out.
