BaklaWish is a baklava and knafeh stand at 38 Etz HaChaim Street, in the covered part of Machane Yehuda Market — kosher mehadrin and open until 01:00. Knafeh comes pareve (₪25) or dairy (₪35), with your choice of toppings and sauces, and there is knafeh ice cream too. Baklava is sold in trays of three varieties of your choice: a quarter kilo for ₪50, half a kilo for ₪100 and a kilo for ₪200. The slogan is 'sweet wishes', and the shopfront, tiled in a red-and-gold geometric pattern, is hard to miss. Kashrut: mehadrin, under the Jerusalem Rabbinate. Open Sunday to Thursday 10:00–01:00, Friday until 17:00, and Saturday night from 20:00 to 01:00. On Thursday night, when the market turns into a night-out spot, it is a natural dessert stop.
