Kurtoshuk is a Hungarian kürtőskalács stand at 39 Etz HaChaim Street in Machane Yehuda Market, kosher mehadrin under the Jerusalem Rabbinate. Kürtőskalács is a yeast dough baked on a roll and served hot. Here it is made on the spot — classic with a sugar coating, with cinnamon or with nuts — and you can add spreads such as hazelnut chocolate, white chocolate, Ferrero Rocher and dulce de leche, crunchy toppings or ice cream. The menu also has churros with a spread and frozen yogurt. The stand is open Sunday to Thursday from the morning until the evening, on Friday until the afternoon, and closed on Shabbat.
