Amadi Mehadrin

Amadi Mehadrin is a nut-roasting shop at the corner of Machane Yehuda and HaShaked streets in the market, running since 1982 under Badatz Beit Yosef. Also called Pitzuchei Amadi, it roasts nuts, almonds, seeds and other pitzuchim on the premises, and you can buy them roasted or natural. Alongside them are dried fruit, spices, and sweets and chocolates, sold by weight and in sealed packs. The mehadrin kashrut covers everything sold loose; packaged goods carry the kashrut marked on the pack. There is a second stall inside the covered market, at 50 Etz HaChaim Street, and branches in Pisgat Ze'ev, Talpiot and Kiryat Yovel. Open Sunday to Friday, closed on Shabbat.
