Why Moris? Before they opened this place, Moris had several places in the market, and people always looked for them by his name — so when they opened here they called it Moris. Dudu, Moris's son, runs the small place on the corner of HeCharuv and HaTut, and every night there is a meat feast worth turning up for, with Greek music and plenty to drink. The idea of a sort of Greek taverna in the market was Moris's, and after its success he opened a second place in the market a year ago, also called Moris, on Beit Yaakov Street, which is open during the day as well. The menu has entrecôte steak, beef skewers, turkey eggs, sweetbread skewers, foie gras, chicken hearts and more, served with a spread of fresh salads.
