Shambiko Brothers is a family fruit shop on Machane Yehuda Street, the market's open-air street, passed down the generations and selling by the season. The emphasis is on seasonal fruit, so the stock is always fresh and juicy for the regulars: figs and grapes, mangoes and apples, each in its time. In the owners' words: "Whoever comes to the market once gets hooked." Open Sunday to Friday, closed on Shabbat.
