Haim's father ran a greengrocer's (October 1974), and after he died Haim and his brother decided to open a butcher's. They were the first to bring frozen meat to the market, and because it was far cheaper than fresh they did very well. Twenty years ago Shaul joined the family business and carried on his father's traditional way of doing things. Jerusalemites have known the family, and Haim, for many years, and that is one reason for the many regulars who want to buy meat from a source they trust.
