David 16 is a kosher meat restaurant at 16 King David Street, facing the Old City walls near Mamilla, with an Israeli wine bar and a cigar room. The Mediterranean menu was created by chef Orel Kimchi, and the restaurant opened in August 2025. Starters include roasted Jerusalem artichoke with cashew labneh, fish cigars and beef carpaccio, most of them ₪66–86. Among the mains: a meagre fish kebab at ₪128, bone-in asado at ₪158, veal fillet at ₪225 and a 350g entrecôte at ₪255. Kashrut is under the Jerusalem Rabbinate, and the entrecôte can also be ordered under other kashrut standards — ask the waiter. The room is dark wood and soft light, with a central bar and a private terrace, and the cigar room is closed off. Open evenings: Sunday to Wednesday 17:00–23:00, Thursday until 23:30, closed on Friday. Parking is free for diners, and the restaurant also hosts events of 30 to 150 guests.
