Bunger is a non-kosher smash-burger joint at 6 Darom Street, a small alley near the corner of Hillel and Shamai — just three burgers, ₪50 each, and open on Shabbat too. The Classic is a 130-gram double smash with cheddar, pickles, ketchup, mustard and onion pressed into the meat on the plancha. The Bunger comes with the same onion, pickles and smoked mustard, and the Louis with cheddar, honey, jalapeño and mayo. A meal with fries and a cola is ₪75, and vegan cheese is available. Exposed concrete walls, an open grill, a self-order station, a shelf of records and big speakers — half burger joint, half hi-fi bar. Open Saturday to Thursday 14:00–23:00 and Friday 12:30–18:00.
