Oud Festival — Wassim Odeh Trio: The Road to Ecstasy

Oud player and composer Dr. Wassim Odeh presents a new chamber show that moves between classical Arabic music and the art of maqam and original compositions and arrangements. The trio brings together oud, piano (Dr. Fadi Deeb) and percussion (Nabeegh Abu Nakoula), performing new works by Odeh alongside arrangements of the Arabic and Western repertoire. Odeh has collaborated with oud master Simon Shaheen, the London Sinfonietta and the band Radiohead.
