Oud Festival — Prof. Taiseer Elias: Oud Recital, The Culture of Sound

An oud recital by Prof. Taiseer Elias: canonical works of classical Arabic music alongside his own original compositions, with improvisations and complete taqasim. Elias has performed as a soloist with many orchestras and collaborated with Zakir Hussain, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Itzhak Perlman and Paco de Lucía. His guest at the concert is conductor, composer and mandolin player Shmuel Elbaz.
