Where can you see the Old City from above?

From the Mount of Olives — the Rechavam lookout faces the Dome of the Rock, the Old City and the new city — and from the Armon HaNatziv promenade to the south, with Mount Scopus, the Mount of Olives and the Judean Desert. Inside the Old City itself you can climb to the Ramparts Walk, the roof terrace of the Austrian Hospice or the towers of the Tower of David.

Which viewpoints in Jerusalem are free?

The Rechavam lookout on the Mount of Olives and the Armon HaNatziv promenade are free to enter. The other places on the list charge an entrance fee, shown next to each one.

How much does it cost to go up the YMCA tower?

₪25 for adults, and children up to age 8 go free. You can go up between 08:00 and 20:00, with a minimum of two visitors.
