Giti's husband Effi brought the business over from Haifa. The borekas are made with canola rather than margarine, by the owners themselves in the kitchen on site. There is Turkish boreka, Spanish boreka and boyos — dough with a mix of cheeses — served with pickled cucumber, tahini, egg and harissa. Italian coffee and iced coffee are available. At weekends there are "sweets": the boreka dough filled with chocolate, halva, nuts, vanilla and sweet cheese, which nothing else in the country does. The owners also run a dairy (mehadrin) catering business called Gvinaz', which takes its inspiration from the smells of the market and combines unusual flavours.
