Segev's Burger
ההמבורגר של שגב
Segev's burger restaurant on Yad Harutzim Street in Talpiot grew out of Nissim Segev's butcher shop. The menu is built around the meat: the Segev Atzbani with spicy sausage and a fried egg, a sirloin burger with 100 grams of barbecued sirloin, the Segev Mefunak with goose liver and house onion jam, and a prime burger made from a wagyu prime rib patty. Most burgers cost ₪59–79, a plain 200-gram burger is ₪49, and ₪25 turns any dish into a business meal with fries and a drink. If you did not come for a burger, there are salads and sandwiches of entrecôte, asado and chicken, and for children a 150-gram burger meal or schnitzel bites. Seating is inside or at the tables out front. Kosher meat under the Jerusalem Rabbinate, cooked according to the Rema (Ashkenazi custom). The kosher certificate does not cover Passover.
