Milia

מיליה

Milia is a dairy chef's restaurant at 17 Derech Beit Lechem in Baka, under Tzohar kosher supervision, from chef Oshi Basson — fish, vegetables and ferments, sourdough bread and fresh pasta. It opened in July 2025 under the name Amaia and has since been renamed. It stands where Etzel Rachel, the family business founded by the chef's grandmother, ran for 35 years. Basson cooked at Meir Adoni's Catit, at Dallal and at the King David Hotel, and trained in France and Italy; today she cooks in an open kitchen. On the menu: sourdough with smoked pine-nut cream and Jerusalem-artichoke gremolata, smoked trout belly, fish terrine, noodles with sea urchin, spinach ravioli and fish in cherry sauce. Open Monday to Wednesday 17:00–22:30 and Thursday until 23:00; closed on Shabbat.
