BarMamilla and the Old City
A bookshop, café and wine bar under a Jerusalem stone vault, just inside the New Gate. They sell books, serve coffee and alcohol, and also run Arabic courses on site. The menu is counter service: coffee from ₪7, Palestinian wine and traditional arak by the glass, cocktails around ₪36–40, sandwiches ₪20–38 and cheese platters. You can bring your own bottle for a corkage fee. Outdoor seating in the alley, and a lower price on any drink you take away.
