Casual is a kosher culinary café-bar in the historic Hasbun compound, between King George Street and Hillel Street — coffee roasted on site by day, wine and drinks in the evening. The compound is about 160 years old: four stone buildings around an inner courtyard. You sit in rooms with vintage furniture or on the walled terrace under the trees and the string of lights, and there are tables set aside for laptop work. You order at the counter and get a notification when the food is ready. Mornings: a mortadella-salmon jabetta with Gouda (₪46), Gruyère toast with pesto (₪42) or a savory bread pudding with za'atar (₪39). Evenings: cold-smoked trout salad (₪52) and small plates at ₪29–41. Open Sunday to Thursday 08:00–24:00 and Friday 08:00–15:00, under Jerusalem Rabbinate supervision.
