Ein Karem Inn (Pundak Ein Karem) is a long-standing restaurant at 9 HaMaayan Street in Ein Karem, in an old preserved house with a green garden, open every day including Shabbat and running for about 40 years. The kitchen leans Italian: breakfasts, pizzas and focaccias from a stone taboon oven at ₪74–81, pastas at ₪68–96, fish and meat dishes. There is Hungarian goulash soup (₪72) and onion soup (₪42); a fish fillet costs ₪122–132 and an entrecôte ₪176. Open Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 to midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 9:30 to midnight. The private room hosts events of up to 40 people and sommelier evenings of wine, beer or cocktails. Weekends fill up, so it is worth booking a table ahead.
