Zahara is a kosher meat chef's restaurant (Jerusalem Rabbinate) in the Nucha Hotel at 16 Ben Sira Street: the younger sister of Angelica, led by chef Roi Achdut. It opened in November 2025, and the room is elegant, with a glass wall onto a quiet sunken courtyard, a cocktail bar and an open kitchen. The cooking is contemporary Mediterranean with French technique and Asian touches, and the dishes are made for sharing. The menu changes with what arrives from the market; the signature dish is the Yarden mushroom from the charcoal oven with soy caramel and cashew cream (₪76), and mains such as beef shoulder, picanha and goose breast cost ₪136–210. Dinner only, from 18:00, closed Friday and Saturday. It is a few minutes' walk from Independence Park and Zion Square, and has a private room for events. Booking ahead is a good idea.
