Helen Bakery is a mehadrin-kosher French-Tunisian patisserie at 6 Agrippas Street that turns into a dairy restaurant in the evening. It opened in February 2025, run by the Giorno family, who own the nearby Ma'afe Yehuda bakery, and it is named after their mother. It sits at the end of Agrippas Street, in an inner alley tucked away from the bustle of the street. In the morning there is a large display of croissants, pain au chocolat, Saint-Honoré mille-feuille and patisserie desserts, alongside savoury items such as an omelette-and-avocado croissant, a Tunisian tuna sandwich and an anchovy pastry. A filled croissant or a dessert costs about ₪38–42. Since April 2026 there is also a dairy evening menu from 18:00: arancini, fish crudo, pizzas, pastas and the bakery's own desserts, served at white-clothed tables inside and out in the alley. Open Sunday to Thursday 08:30–15:30 and 18:00–23:00, Friday and holiday eves 08:30–14:30, closed on Shabbat. For the evening it is worth booking.
