The President's Residence — The City's Best-Kept Museum (Lecture)

Over the years, treasures of Israeli art have been gathered in the President's garden and inside the residence: works by Reuven Rubin, Chana Orloff, Kadishman, Zaritsky, Bezem, Ardon and others. The collection also includes fascinating contemporary Israeli works. In the lecture we will look closely at the architecture of the house designed by Abba Elhanani and at the wonderful garden around it, and ask what the collection tells us about the residents of the house over the years, and what it tells us about ourselves. A session in which we will "enter" the house and "stroll" through a garden that is one of the most beautiful in the city, and talk about the presidency, architecture and art, lots of art!
