Purim in Jerusalem is a story of its own: the city celebrates Shushan Purim — one day after the rest of the country — with the Adloyada parade, street parties, Megillah readings on every corner, and costumes filling the streets.
As a city walled since the days of Joshua, Jerusalem celebrates Shushan Purim — one day after the rest of Israel. In practice this means you can celebrate twice: parties in Tel Aviv and around the country, and the real festivities in Jerusalem the next day.
