מלאו (Maleo)

Maleo is an evening meat restaurant in Jerusalem's Rose Garden, on the ground floor of the building with Rosie on its roof; both belong to the Jacko's Street group. The kitchen joins Israel and Asia: sushi and nigiri, sea-fish sashimi and ceviche, gyoza, Asian goose breast, alongside skewers, foie gras, beef cuts and whole fish by weight. A large marble bar with cocktails sits in the middle of the room. Starters run ₪46–178, from sourdough bread with schug and aubergine cream to the "Rose Garden lake", four kinds of raw sea fish on ice. Mains run ₪88–248, among them a 300 g sando burger at ₪98 and an entrecôte at ₪248. Cocktails ₪56–78. The full menu with prices is further down the page; tables are booked through Tabit.
