RestaurantKosherClosed on Shabbat

A Kurdish-Syrian restaurant built around the shamburak: a stuffed bread pastry that comes hot out of the taboon with mashed potato, caramelised onion and chimichurri. The fillings are slow-cooked meats such as siske (beef ribs), brisket, asado and tongue, and there is a vegetarian option too. The recipe comes from the grandmother of Oren Sasson Levy, who opened the place.
