This is an exceptional production, for which Gordeyev received the prestigious award of the Western European Impresarios Association for "the most grandiose production of 2000". Set to Tchaikovsky's timeless music and Marius Petipa's spectacular choreography, this production combines the magic of Russian classical ballet with lavish sets, costumes adorned with gold details and virtuoso performances by dancers from the theater's first company.
