Wolf A new interpretation and a surprising design combining object theater and puppetry. "Tehila", one of the Khan's best-loved productions, returns to the stage renewed in an immersive adaptation in the theater's enchanting courtyard and historic spaces. The audience joins the journey and walks in the footsteps of Tehila alongside the actors, as the story unfolds among ancient Jerusalem stones, arches and mysterious spaces, and the whole theater compound becomes a living, breathing stage. The new version of the show involves light walking and standing. Comfortable shoes are recommended. "There was an old woman in Jerusalem": so begins the story of a journey describing the writer's search for meaning in his life. One day he meets Tehila, a righteous old woman who leads him through the alleys of Jerusalem. A conversation grows between the two, and it stirs his curiosity. In the alleys of the Old City the writer meets various figures: a Jerusalem sage and an elderly rebbetzin. The encounters illuminate the beauty of Jerusalem and its human mosaic. Little by little the story of Tehila's past is revealed, beginning in her youth and rooted in a sin, for which Tehila seeks forgiveness in her own special way. Running time: about an hour and a quarter (no intermission) Credits
