The Metula Poetry Festival in Jerusalem 2026 — Day Two

It is well known that the growth of Hebrew poetry in Israel took place within the ranks of the Labour movement, and that anyone outside it was consigned to the margins. Israel's foremost literary scholar, Prof. Dan Miron, together with Dror Bar-Yosef, decided to bring back to life the forgotten poetry soldiers of the Israeli right, in a vast project now under way.
