In the world of music there is the idea of a one-hit wonder, and if the category were carried over into poetry, the poet Amir Gilboa would win it without question. Gilboa (1917–1984) was a contemporary of Yehuda Amichai but far more self-effacing. He wrote dozens of poems collected in volumes.
