Oud Festival — Opening Show: Dudu Tassa & Jonny Greenwood, Jarak Qaribak

The opening show of the Oud Festival: Dudu Tassa and Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead, The Smile) perform songs from their joint album Jarak Qaribak, in which they reimagine classic Arabic love songs from the Middle East. The show will also include songs from the project's new chapter and from the "Kuwaitis" albums, in which Tassa paid tribute to the work of his grandfather Daoud Al-Kuwaity and his brother Saleh. On stage is a large ensemble of musicians and singers, including singers Karrar Alsaadi (Kiri) and Jiana Naddaf, with qanun, oud, strings, winds and percussion.
