A group of residents at the "Neve Harim" retirement home runs into a problem. Their good friend is diagnosed as terminally ill and asks them to help him end his life without suffering. Rallying all the sharp minds around them, they manage to build a machine for self-administered mercy killing, and fulfil his wish. But things go wrong when more and more elderly people hear about the machine and come asking for a "good death" for themselves. A sad comedy about friendship and farewell, and about the fine line between morality and love.
