Two years after tragedy strikes them, the residents of a quiet fishing village on the coast of Spain decide to revive the village's traditional band and enter the annual regional band competition. With no other choice, and with the band's conductor gone, his daughter Andrea, 18, is chosen to lead the musicians. To everyone's surprise, and despite a start full of doubts, Andrea manages to rekindle the band's hopes with an extraordinary blend of traditional playing and modern rhythms.
