Efim Alexandrov's "Songs of the Jewish Shtetl" project celebrates 25 years with a festive tour. Alexandrov — composer, singer and keeper of the Yiddish song tradition — brings to the Rebecca Crown Hall songs from his new albums alongside his best-loved ones: music that keeps the breath of the shtetl, lullabies in the mame-loshn and the niggunim of grandparents. The show is in Yiddish, and also aimed at Russian-speaking audiences.
