Ehud Banai opens Amphi BaGiv'a, three nights of concerts held over the intermediate days of Sukkot at the open-air amphitheatre on Ammunition Hill — the ridge the paratroopers crossed into Jerusalem in 1967. One of Israel's most loved songwriters, outdoors, in front of a crowd that knows every word. Gates open 19:30, show starts 20:30. Food stalls and a drinks bar run all evening, and a sukkah is set up on site. The amphitheatre is wheelchair accessible; paid parking is available in the municipal Ammunition Hill car park. Holders of the Yerushalmi card — Jerusalem's municipal residents' card — get ₪60 off.
