Israeli Comedy Festival 2026 in Jerusalem — Every Show, Date and Venue

3 September 2026Updated 4 September 2026

Every October there is a week in Jerusalem when four halls in the city centre fill with people who came to laugh, and most of the city doesn't know it is happening. The Israeli Comedy Festival is not one stand-up night — it is five days, several stages, and a mix of stand-up, comic theatre and film. Almost all of it is performed in Hebrew.

Here is what is known so far.

When and where

18–22 October 2026, in Jerusalem, produced by the Incubator Theatre.

The festival is spread over four halls — worth noting before you buy a ticket, because not everything is in the same place:

HallAddress
Beit Ha'am Cultural Center11 Bezalel Street
Beit Mzia Theatre18 Mesilat Yesharim Street
Nissan Nativ Acting StudioArts Campus, 3 Menora Street
Sam Spiegel CinemaArts Campus, 3 Menora Street

Note that Nissan Nativ and Sam Spiegel share one compound — the Arts Campus at 3 Menora Street — so moving between them on the same evening means not moving at all. Beit Ha'am and Beit Mzia are in the city centre, within walking distance of each other and on the light rail line: City Hall or IDF Square.

What hasn't been announced yet

The full lineup for 19–22 October is still being released bit by bit, and prices haven't been officially published. This page is updated with every announcement — and the Jerusalem events calendar in English carries every show as soon as it is added.

Where to park

Three of the four halls — Beit Ha'am, Nissan Nativ and Sam Spiegel — sit in effectively the same spot, about 107 metres end to end. Park once and you are covered for all three.

For Beit Ha'am, Nissan Nativ and Sam Spiegel: the Beit Ha'am car park (Gerard Behar / Menora) — 107 metres, a minute's walk. Evening rate ₪14, open Sunday to Thursday until 01:00. Exactly the festival's hours.

For Beit Mzia: the Machane Yehuda market car park, 240 metres away, ₪18 — but it closes at 23:00, and a 21:00 show ends at about 22:15. It works, as long as you don't linger. If you'd rather not rush: the Shukanyon car park, 301 metres, open until midnight.

What to avoid: Karta and Mamilla are a kilometre and a quarter from here. They are the right car parks for the Old City, not for Bezalel Street.

If you'd rather not deal with any of it — the light rail stops at City Hall and IDF Square, both a short walk away, and most shows end around 22:15. That is exactly when the city centre wakes up.
